Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SpacedMentorship by DistrictZero Inc. ("SpacedMentorship", "we", "our"). By using the service, you agree to these Terms.
What SpacedMentorship provides
You complete survey forms. We use OpenAI to generate a personalized agenda and related materials. Outputs may contain errors and should be reviewed before use.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old and able to form a contract.
- If you use the service for an organization, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms.
Your account and responsibilities
- Keep your credentials confidential and notify us of suspected misuse.
- You are responsible for content you submit and for compliance with applicable laws.
- Do not upload sensitive personal data unless required and permitted by law.
Acceptable use
- No attempts to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the service.
- No content that is unlawful, infringing, or violates privacy or intellectual property rights.
- No use for medical diagnosis/treatment, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
Your content and license to us
You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and transmit your content as needed to provide and improve the service, including through our vendors. Where available, we disable vendor training on your data.
Vendors
We use Vercel (hosting), OpenAI (inference), Resend (email), Supabase (auth and storage), and Stripe (payment processing). Vendors act as our sub-processors under agreements that require confidentiality and appropriate safeguards.
We may provide links to recommended resources from the American Heart Association and YouTube. These are for educational purposes; content is governed by the respective publishers' terms and policies.
Plans, billing, and refunds
Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically unless canceled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Intellectual property
The service, including our UI, designs, and trademarks, is owned by DistrictZero Inc. Except for your content, you may not copy or create derivative works without our written permission.
Disclaimers
The service and outputs are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DistrictZero Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability.
Termination and suspension
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, security risks, or legal requests. You may stop using the service at any time. Upon termination, we may delete your content subject to legal and backup retention.
Changes to the service or Terms
We may update the service and these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, excluding conflict of laws rules.
